LOU MARTINEZ
Lou has been teaching for over 24 years and has more than 30 years of experience in the printing industry. He holds various certificates and awards from the printing industry and was the print director for the internal printing of the 1984 Olympic games held in Los Angeles. Lou currently teaches printing, prepress and graphic design courses.
DENISE TRAVIS

JIM KEESHEN
In 1997 SMC asked Jim Keeshen to help start The Academy of Entertainment and Technology. Keeshen became the first full-time professor for the AET, wrote most of the curriculum, hired industry professionals as teachers, advised on the software and hardware to be used and was the first Chair of the AET. Before coming to the AET, Keeshen ran his own animation studio in Los Angeles.
WILLIAM LANCASTER
Bill has been an instructor at Santa Monica College for over 23 years. He holds an Art degree from Reed College and an M.F.A. in Visual Communications from Syracuse University, In addition to teaching a wide variety of graphic design classes, Bill maintains a freelance practice that specializes in typographic and logotype design.
