Zeny Baduel
Zeny
is the current Chair of the Design Technology department. She
taught art and graphic design classes for
over 15 years before joining
the Graphic Design faculty
in 2000.
In addition to teaching,
Zeny has done freelance work for over 20 years and is
a recipient of several design awards.
She
holds a Masters Degree in Teaching and a Graphic Design
degree from New Jersey. Zeny teaches
various graphic and web design classes for
print and online publishing.

William
Lancaster
Bill
Lancaster has been with Santa Monica College for over 10 years as
a full-time instructor. He taught part-time for 13 years prior to
that. An Art graduate of Reed College with his M.F.A. in Visual Communications
from Syracuse University, Bill teaches a wide variety of graphic
design classes. He maintains a freelance practice that specializes
in typographic and logotype design.

Lou
Martinez
Lou is one of the old timers in
the department, having
taught for over 28 years. He is very much involved
in the printing industry, with over 30 years of experience in
the field. He teaches printing, prepress and graphic design courses.
He currently maintains a print broker status for graphic designers
and color houses. Lou holds various certificates and awards from
the printing industry and was the print director for the internal
printing of the 1984 Olympic games held in Los Angeles.
